Stainless Steel Bathroom Suite - ESAD, Portugal

A challenging project, the brief was to design a bathroom suite using stainless steel. The gentle curves of this suite lend themselves to creating a surprisingly attractive and not so clinical suite as stainless steel might usually provide.

Reflect provided an interesting insight into design for my classmates and I. With most not appreciating the brief and not being interested in the project in the beginning, we soon learned to embrace it and in the end, we were extremely happy with our final products, giving us great satisfaction and pleasure.

A hidden cistern toilet with stylish wall mounted flush adds to the elegant look.

A bidet was also required with the set. Though they are rarely seen in Ireland. They are quite common in Portugal.

Clean curves reflect and skew the surroundings letting the suite bring life into the otherwise flat surfaces around it. The high and outwardly tapering wall of the toilet lid ensure the user won't touch the seat when opening elaying fears of contact with germs.
